Take a break and enjoy gentle stretching, relaxation, and stress relief as Sharon brings you through this contemporary yoga class. Reap the benefits like improved posture, flexibility, strength, mental alacrity, confidence, relaxation and relief from pains and stresses. In addition to the postures and movements of yoga helping strengthen our bodies and increase our flexibility, this class can also help to calm the mind, simply by focusing on the movement and the breath.
The ancient practice of Yoga has been passed down through the ages as a way of bringing into balance mind, body and spirit. The physical postures that we recognise are, in fact, only one aspect of the Yoga practice. In addition to helping us strengthen our bodies and increase our flexibility, Yoga can also help us to calm the mind, simply by focusing on the movement and the breath.
Please note : There are no extreme asanas in these classes and you are welcome exactly as you are. Suitable for women who want an holistic approach to yoga, not just the physical postures.
