Mindfulness Wellbeing Retreat

Facilitator : Colette Savage

Why Mindfulness?

Mindfulness enables us to gently and kindly manage the thoughts produced in our minds so we can get a chance to be in the joy of being and staying fully present in each moment instead of being dragged into the past or future.  It enables us to be free of negative thinking habits such as judgement, worry and anxiety or emotions generated by those thoughts.

Benefits of Mindfulness, here are just a few!

  • More self-compassion and understanding
  • Self awareness
  • Increased creativity and concentration
  • Less reactivity
  • Emotional self-regulation
  • Reduction in production of stress hormone
  • Calms the nervous system
  • Increased mind-body awareness

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is a simple and gentle tool to give choice in every moment and enable us to create through acceptance and paying attention, a more loving and natural, rejuvenating mental state!
